Location
Description
In the French Vaucresson Bouwfonds Marignan realised the Domaine de Vaucresson, which comprises 16 spacious free-standing houses and 38 apartments. The dwellings are in the former park of Dassault Aviation, a cultural-historic 'monument' in French aviation history. For this project, Bouwfonds Marignan, which was also responsible for land development, opted for homes with innovative, renewable energy provisions, offering both comfort and energy savings. Buyers can choose one of two options with regard to energy provision. The first is gas heating with an individual boiler and transmitters in the wall. The second possibility utilises vertical, subterranean receptors, with a pumping system for heating, which is connected to a floor that provides heating and cooling. The project was realised in the framework of a partnership with EDF (Electricité de France), the ADEME (Agence de l'Environnement et de la Maîtrise de l'Energie) and the regional agency for the environment and new energy sources (ARENE).
