Location
Description
The Ackermannbogen project, which Bouwfonds Immobilienentwicklung undertook with a joint-venture partner, comprises 345 homes and 12,500 square metres of office space. The project is part of a larger inner city redevelopment in the popular Munich district, Schwabing. Close to the Olympia grounds, with expansive sports facility parks, a former industrial site of the Deutsche Post was divided into new lots on which residential blocks were built in austere, modern architecture. The warm colours of the fronts provide a magical look. The fronts, plastered with minerals, are typical of Munich and Southern Germany. With Ackermannbogen, in combination with the office space, a new, lively urban district was created.
