Location
Description
On the north shore of the River Main, Bouwfonds realised 113 luxurious apartments, situated magnificently on the River Main, with a unique view of the skyline of Frankfurt. The apartments are part of the redevelopment of a former shipyard and municipal gas company into a lively, desirable residential area. The development comprised a total of six eight-storey apartment buildings plus an elongated residential block. All complexes have underground parking garages.
A mixture of home types was realised to meet the variety of residential needs: from spacious two-room homes to a maisonette penthouse with no less than 320 square metres of floor space. The harbour crane of the former shipyard reminds one of its historical uses, forming the décor for the annual theatre festival on the river. The location of the European Central Bank in the immediate vicinity of Riverside concludes the redevelopment of the area.
